Two Nights of Spoken Word with KennyFresh

A virtual event series that explores…

universal themes of compassion, mental health, identity, belonging, and empowerment.

Many of us claim to not have a creative bone in our bodies, yet we utilize poetic devices in our day to day communications such as, alliteration, satire, and metaphors.  These poetic elements give meaning, punctuation and flare to what we say. When combined with a performer’s unique intonation and rhythmic recitation, it becomes an art form that touches our interior worlds and activates collective reflection.

We can't wait to share the spoken word poetry of "KennyFresh" with you, our compassionate community and beyond!

What we breathe in can be exhaled as something different or maybe distantly related. Breathe in enough fear and you'll exhale doubt. It'll perforate every word you speak, every syllable that you leak. 7 days of this will definitely make one weak. When life gets to be too much we get told to focus on our breathing. What is coming into our bodies and what is leaving. Are we breathing in peace causing the negative to be released... -Breathe, KennyFresh
