Wrapped in a Blanket: A Winter Gathering for the Heart

  • A House Unbuilt 321 S Main St, Suite 204, Stillwater, MN 55082 (map)

What would it be like to give our grief a little space this holiday season?

To pull up a chair and say, “have a seat — you’re allowed here too.”

Join artist Olivia Morawiecki,  A House Unbuilt and The Compassion Museum for a gathering inspired by the winter landscape, the universal experience of grief, the power of presence and Olivia’s newest installation, Wrap Me in a Blanket, on view in Lowell Park.

Inside the studio, we’ll “bring the outside in,” to experience the installation and its invocation of love and warmth through a landscape of sound and projected imagery. During this immersive experience, you’ll hear Olivia talk about the vision behind this moving and compassionate piece.  You’ll also be invited into quiet, private reflection to honor a loved one, memory, or whatever grief we might be carrying this season. Each participant will receive a small token to take home as a reminder of memory, connections and care.

Join us for an evening of the sound, presence, warmth and care.

This event is free. Everyone is Welcome. We hope to see you there!
